CPSC Recall in 2009: Children's Hooded Jackets and Pullover Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled by Hard Tail Due to Strangulation Hazard
See the recall details below. You can also see similar information for other consumer product recalls in 2009.
The recalled hooded jackets and pullover sweatshirts have style numbers and RN number 107435 included on the care label found sewn inside on the lower left seam.
The jackets and pullovers have a drawstring through the hood or waist which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.
