CPSC Recall in 2009: Children's Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled by Pro-Pac Distributing Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves youth zipper and pullover hooded sweatshirts with drawstrings. The sweatshirts were sold in black, navy and grey. The Proclub brand sweatshirts have RN number 100418 is printed on a tag inside the collar.
The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.
