Recall Description:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Hazard Description:

An audible click heard when the brake pedal is pressed can give a false impression that the brake is fully engaged when it is not. When the brake is not engaged, the stroller can move unexpectedly posing a risk of injury to the child occupant.

Units: About 20,000 in the United States and 800 in Canada
Incidents:

Britax has received seven reports of the brake not being fully engaged. No injuries have been reported.

Juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide and online retailers between September 2010 and June 2011 for about $200.
