Recall Description:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Hazard Description:

The diving hose on Phantom and Mesh Flex brand name equipment can rupture.

Units: About 2,590 total units: 1900 Innovative Scuba Concepts hoses, about 480 Trident Diving Equipment hoses and about 210 A-Plus Marine hoses
Incidents:

The importers have received nine reports of burst hoses. No injuries have been reported.

Scuba diving retailers nationwide and on-line from August 2011 through August 2012 for prices ranging between about $40 and $50.
