The seat plates can break on entertainment, executive, managers' and task chairs sold from August 2009 to September 2012.

Hazard Description:

The seat plate can break, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Incidents:

Sauder Woodworking Company has received 17 reports of seat plates breaking, two of which involved consumers falling and receiving bumps and bruises.

Meijer, Menards, Shopko and Target and a variety of retail outlets nationwide, and online retailers including BestBuy.com and Kohls.com from August 2009 to September 2012 for between $79 and $399.
