Recall Description:

The main control modules on Kozy Heat-, Ambiance- and Stellar Hearth-brand direct vent fireplaces and inserts can allow gas to be released and buildup in the burner area.

Hazard Description:

The main control module can allow gas to be released and buildup in the burner area, posing an explosion hazard.

Hussong Manufacturing received reports of nine incidents of gas being released prematurely and exploding, resulting in minor property damage and two reports of abrasions.
