The seat post can break.

Hazard Description:

The seat post can break, posing a fall hazard to the rider.

Units: About 1,400 (in addition, 170 bicycles were sold in Canada)
Incidents:

The firm has received 11 reports of broken seat posts outside of the U.S. No injuries have been reported.

"Authorized SCOTT dealers nationwide and online from June 2015 through March 2016 for between $3,300 and $9,700."
