Recall Description:

The fork axle on Cannondale Bad Boy and Bad Girl commuter bicycles can crack.

Hazard Description:

The bicycle’s fork axle can crack, posing a fall hazard.

Units: About 3,100 (in addition, about 400 were sold in Canada)

Incidents:

The firm has received 30 reports of the bicycle’s fork axle cracking; including an injury report of a fall that resulted in a concussion and bruising.

"Authorized Cannondale dealers nationwide from June 2010 through December 2014 for between $1,000 and $1,800."
