Recall Description:

This recall involves the Gen 2 Bionic Runner bicycles that mimic running motion. The bicycles are black and have red pedals and red trim around the wheels. The bicycles have a folding frame and “BIONIC RUNNER” is printed in white on the side of the stirrups.

Hazard Description:

The pedals can detach from the bionic runner bicycle, posing a fall hazard to riders.

Incidents:

The firm has received one report of a pedal detaching from the bicycle, resulting in an injury to a rider who fell off the bicycle and scraped the rider’s knees and finger.
