Driveshaft Can Break

GKN Automotive (GKN) is recalling certain replacement driveshafts for 2006-2015 BMW Mini, 2004-2018 Land Rover Discovery, and Range Rover vehicles. The driveshaft can crack or break.

Consequence Summary:
A cracked or broken driveshaft can cause a loss of drive power or a vehicle rollaway while in Park. Both scenarios increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action:
