Steering Gear Assembled Incorrectly

Global Environmental Products (Global) is recalling certain 2021-2022 M4 (M4, R4, M4 HSD) and M4 CNG sweeper vehicles. The steering gears may have been incorrectly assembled, which can cause the gears to fracture.

Consequence Summary:

A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:

Global will replace the steering gears, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 24, 2022. Owners may contact Global's customer service at 1-909-703-1600.
