According to the US Census Bureau population estimates, there were 21,299,325 people living in Florida in 2018. Miami-Dade (1.9M) and Broward (2.7M) counties were the most populated counties, with both counties constituting 22% of Florida's population. Other highly populated counties with over 1 million people include Palm Beach (1.5M), Hillsborough (1.4M), and Orange (1.4M).
