Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in Pennsylvania was 9.05%. Among all Pennsylvania cities and places with a population of at least 10K, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in State College borough (44.12%), followed by Darby borough (34.63%), and Chester city (32.69%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 cities: Montgomeryville CDP (1.98%), Jefferson Hills borough (2.25%), and Wyomissing borough (2.76%).
