Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in Indiana was 10.35%. Among all Indiana counties, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Switzerland County (20.5%), followed by Monroe County (19.56%), and Vigo County (18.65%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Hendricks County (3.49%), Hamilton County (3.61%), and Hancock County (4.7%).
