Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in New Mexico was 15.6%. Among all New Mexico counties, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Cibola County (26.86%), followed by Socorro County (26.06%), and Sierra County (24.71%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Los Alamos County (3.53%), Sandoval County (6.91%), and Harding County (9.67%).
