Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in New York was 10.02%. Among all New York counties, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Bronx County (22.9%), followed by St. Lawrence County (16.68%), and Rockland County (16.61%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Nassau County (4.23%), Putnam County (5.05%), and Suffolk County (5.47%).
