Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, 51,582 out of 417,483 Pima County, AZ households received Food Stamps or SNAP in the last 12 months (i.e. 12.36% of Pima County households).

By Race: As a percentage of the total number of households that received SNAP or Food Stamps, the White Alone racial group constituted 60.11%; the Some Other Race Alone racial group constituted 13.07%, and the Two or More Races racial group constituted 11.97%.

By Ethnicity: As a percentage of the total number of households that received Food Stamps or SNAP, the Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group constituted 35.69%, and the Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group constituted 49.87%.
