According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for Alaska in 2006 Q1 was $790. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1,489), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($979), and Northwest Arctic Borough ($890). On the other hand, Lake and Peninsula Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($435), followed by Yakutat City and Borough ($545), and Aleutians East Borough ($549).
