According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for Alaska in 2008 Q1 was $865. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1,676), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($1,107), and Valdez-Cordova ($986). On the other hand, Lake and Peninsula Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($539), followed by Hoonah-Angoon Borough ($554), and Aleutians East Borough ($572).
