According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for Alaska in 2009 Q1 was $886. Among all Alaska counties, North Slope Borough had the highest average weekly wage ($1,722), followed by Southeast Fairbanks Borough ($1,095), and Denali Borough ($1,058). On the other hand, Lake and Peninsula Borough had the lowest average weekly wage ($528), followed by Hoonah-Angoon Borough ($556), and Wrangell City and Borough ($561).
