According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2002 Q4 was $837. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,241), followed by San Mateo County ($1,172), and San Francisco County ($1,133). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($406), followed by Modoc County ($458), and Siskiyou County ($480).
