According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2003 Q4 was $870. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,331), followed by San Mateo County ($1,235), and San Francisco County ($1,177). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($441), followed by Sierra County ($469), and Modoc County ($479).
