According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2005 Q1 was $872. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,375), followed by San Francisco County ($1,372), and San Mateo County ($1,218). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($429), followed by Siskiyou County ($494), and Modoc County ($504).
