According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2006 Q1 was $951. Among all California counties, Santa Clara had the highest average weekly wage ($1,581), followed by San Francisco ($1,516), and San Mateo ($1,342). On the other hand, Alpine had the lowest average weekly wage ($496), followed by Modoc ($508), and Colusa ($515).
