According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2006 Q4 was $988. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,569), followed by San Francisco County ($1,458), and San Mateo County ($1,403). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($500), followed by Siskiyou County ($555), and Mariposa County ($558).
