According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2008 Q1 was $1,006. Among all California counties, San Francisco County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,629), followed by Santa Clara County ($1,589), and San Mateo County ($1,444). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($531), followed by Mariposa County ($542), and Modoc County ($551).
