According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2008 Q3 was $959. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,530), followed by San Mateo County ($1,375), and San Francisco County ($1,352). On the other hand, Sierra County had the lowest average weekly wage ($585), followed by Mariposa County ($590), and Modoc County ($602).
