According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2008 Q4 was $1,042. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,569), followed by San Francisco County ($1,495), and San Mateo County ($1,439). On the other hand, Mariposa County had the lowest average weekly wage ($594), followed by Modoc County ($607), and Trinity County ($618).
