According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for New Jersey in 2009 Q3 was $996. Among all New Jersey counties, Somerset County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,245), followed by Morris County ($1,205), and Hudson County ($1,173). On the other hand, Cape May County had the lowest average weekly wage ($575), followed by Ocean County ($701), and Sussex County ($724).
