According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for New York in 2008 Q2 was $1,040. Among all New York counties, New York County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,568), followed by Westchester County ($1,138), and Nassau County ($967). On the other hand, Yates County had the lowest average weekly wage ($529), followed by Hamilton County ($532), and Herkimer County ($583).
