According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for Virginia in 2011 Q2 was $949. Among all Virginia counties, Arlington County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,555), followed by Surry County ($1,529), and Fairfax County ($1,422). On the other hand, Highland County had the lowest average weekly wage ($473), followed by Patrick County ($487), and Mathews County ($494).
