United States Payroll Employment By State for All Federal Government Business Establishments in January, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to all federal government business establishments (324), followed by Vermont (91), and New Hampshire (36).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,777), followed by Florida (-1,567), and New York (-1,452).
