According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government manufacturing industry (40), followed by Maine (39), and Oklahoma (18).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-18), followed by Illinois (-18), and Washington (-15).
