  2. Hardin: 5,098
  3. Fayette: 4,168
  4. Christian: 3,434
  5. Kenton: 3,186
  6. Boone: 1,145
  7. Madison: 1,134
  8. McCracken: 563
  9. McCreary: 461
  10. Franklin: 423

The following were the rankings of the top 10 Kentucky counties based on the number of Federal Government jobs added to the 102 Service-providing Industry in May 2019:

  1. Edmonson: 22
  2. Daviess: 8
  3. Fayette: 7
  4. Hardin: 7
  5. Bell: 5
  6. Clay: 5
  7. Jefferson: 5
  8. Campbell: 4
  9. Marshall: 4
  10. Pike: 4
