According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (1,214), followed by Florida (460), and Michigan (411).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-950), followed by California (-817), and Texas (-535).
