According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (460), followed by Arizona (313), and Washington (293).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-751), followed by New York (-294), and Texas (-168).
