According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government professional and business services industry (33), followed by Oregon (24), and North Carolina (14).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-184), followed by California (-26), and Virginia (-21).
