According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government insurance carriers and related activities industry (36), followed by Michigan (20), and Maryland (18).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-40), followed by North Dakota (-1), and New Jersey (-1).
