According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Alaska added 6,679 number of jobs to all local government business establishments. Among Alaska counties, Fairbanks North Star added the highest number of jobs (1,374), followed by Kenai Peninsula (664), and Juneau (554).
