According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Florida added the highest number of jobs to all local government business establishments (126,745), followed by California (101,687), and Arizona (60,283).
On the other hand, Washington added the least number of jobs (-2,727), followed by Maryland (-2,227), and New York (-1,041).
