United States Payroll Employment By State for All Local Government Business Establishments in April, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to all local government business establishments (7,243), followed by Ohio (4,949), and Wisconsin (4,903).

On the other hand, Connecticut added the least number of jobs (-3,405), followed by Georgia (-1,747), and Indiana (-1,667).
