According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Alaska added 1,064 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Matanuska-Susitna added the highest number of jobs (170), followed by Juneau (116), and North Slope (75).
