According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Alaska added 9,707 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Matanuska-Susitna added the highest number of jobs (2,064), followed by Bethel (436), and Fairbanks North Star (348).
