According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, California added 101,674 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among California counties, San Diego added the highest number of jobs (10,173), followed by Contra Costa (7,633), and Alameda (6,314).
