According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, California added 1,631,378 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among California counties, Orange added the highest number of jobs (20,229), followed by Alameda (3,706), and Contra Costa (1,692).
