According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Louisiana added 3,164 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Calcasieu added the highest number of jobs (336), followed by Jefferson Davis (161), and Ouachita (141).
