According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Louisiana added 332 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Ascension added the highest number of jobs (132), followed by Jefferson Davis (37), and Calcasieu (33).
