According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Louisiana added 9,300 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, East Baton Rouge added the highest number of jobs (4,134), followed by Lafourche (1,467), and Ouachita (418).
