According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Louisiana added 1,441 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Orleans added the highest number of jobs (906), followed by Calcasieu (62), and Lafourche (42).
