According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Louisiana added 3,684 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Ouachita added the highest number of jobs (2,113), followed by Plaquemines (417), and Jefferson (312).
